Cisco Live makes its way back to Las Vegas for the 2026 event. This event continues to bring together thousands of IT professionals, networking experts, engineers, executives, solutions providers, and partners from around the world.

After missing last year's event in San Diego, I’m excited to go back to Cisco Live and learn about the latest innovations from Cisco and its partners. I’ve been fortunate enough to attend Cisco Live 13 times as an attendee and sponsor. This event is, by far, my favorite for many reasons: World of Solutions, technical training, networking opportunities, and, of course, the celebration event.
In this Cisco Live guide, you'll find key conference details, must-dos, and the sessions I'm most excited about.
When: May 31-June 4, 2026
Where: Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada
Cisco Live offers many activities during the week, including walk-in labs, technical sessions, keynotes, World of Solutions, and more.
One of the key reasons to attend Cisco Live is for the technical sessions. These sessions cover a variety of topics related to Cisco products, roadmap, services, and technologies. With a full conference pass, attendees can participate in presentations, demonstrations, and walk-in labs conducted by Cisco experts and industry leaders.
Tip: If you haven’t done so already, register for your sessions now! These fill up quickly and will offer a waitlist option if you don’t register in time.
Here are a few sessions (maybe more than a few) I’m looking forward to:
Session Number: WOSPAR-2010
Session Type: World of Solutions
Description Summary: Today’s UC environments face a familiar set of challenges: missed calls, overwhelmed support teams, and fragmented visibility make it hard to turn insight into actions, just as expectations for always‑on engagement continue to rise. Point solutions alone no longer cut it. Teams need an integrated platform that unifies analytics, management, automation, and AI to deliver real visibility, control, and action.
Participants will learn how Variphy uses AI Virtual Voice Agents to deliver 24/7 call handling, seamlessly transfer to human agents when needed, and provide real‑time operational insight with detailed historical reporting. The session highlights how this integrated approach reduces reliance on point solutions, improves visibility, and enables faster, confident decision‑making.
Why Attend?
It’s Variphy’s session in the World of Solutions Theater! But really, this will be a great session to find out about Variphy’s capabilities outside for reporting and analytics. A lot of new features on the horizon!
Session Number: DEVNET-2454
Session Type: Tech Talk
Description Summary: Unlock new possibilities for intelligent automation by integrating AI agents with Webex using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This session introduces how developers and architects can leverage bi-directional MCP integration to both bring external context into Cisco AI Assistant and use Webex as a real-time context source for custom AI agents. You’ll learn how to onboard MCP servers via Bring Your Own Datasource (BYOD) APIs, streamline context sharing, and drive smarter, more adaptive automation across your collaboration workflows. Through practical demonstrations and real-world scenarios, discover best practices for secure API integration, intent-based automation, and observability. Whether you’re building new AI solutions or enhancing existing ones, this session will equip you with actionable tools and insights to maximize the value of Webex and MCP in your enterprise AI strategy.
Why Attend?
I’m interested in this session primarily as a development partner with Cisco, although it will be informative for organizations interested in Webex’s AI Agent functionality. Adam is a great presenter and has worked with the DEVNET organization for many years and brings a ton of knowledge and expertise to his sessions.
Session Number: BRKCCT-1019
Session Type: Breakout
Description Summary: For many years, Cisco on-prem contact center customers wishing for modernization must play the waiting game for new features to finally become available and must balance innovation with security, cost control, and operational stability. This session is designed for organizations that want the benefits of cloud technology today—but need confidence that the move is secure, financially sound, and worth defending to leadership.
Why Attend?
Many organizations are migrating to Webex Contact Center from on-prem solutions. Cisco has introduced tools to assist with the migration. These tools are useful for migrating UCCX configurations, teams, agents, and scripts to the Webex Contact Center platform.
Session Number: BRKCOL-2079
Session Type: Breakout
Description Summary: Transitioning your on-premises UCM calling platform to Webex Calling can be a significant undertaking and sometimes may feel overwhelming.
In this session we will use a 3-phase approach to divide the transition into manageable activities. Then following a 2-step transition and leveraging the PPDIO methodology, we will review the key transition activities and see how the Webex migration tools can assist to efficiently complete them.
Why Attend?
Another migration session, but this time for UCM to Webex Calling. This session aims to highlight the migration process and alleviate some of the common pain points during the process.
Session Number: BRKCCT-2034
Session Type: Breakout
Description: Learn how to unlock valuable data from Webex Contact Center customer interactions to gain deep insights that transform customer engagement and deliver actionable business intelligence. This session covers the data sources within Webex Contact Center that provide end-to-end visibility into customer interactions. Discover how to leverage AI and analytics capabilities-including reporting, customer journey analysis, and post-call insights, to enhance operational awareness and drive smarter, more dynamic customer experiences. Ideal for contact center leaders, business stakeholders and contact center administrators seeking to harness data-driven strategies for improved visibility, personalized interactions, and informed decision-making.
Why Attend?
This will be a good one to attend for anyone managing a contact center environment. Visibility into your contact center is imperative to make educated business decisions. The Webex Contact Center platform gathers and provides a ton of information. This information can be displayed as reports and widgets, and the Variphy solution adds additional easy-to-use dashboard capabilities and fully customizable reports with no data retention limitations.
Session Number: BRKCOL-2076
Session Type: Instructor-led Lab
Description Summary: Come and learn about how Cisco is committed to providing flexibility and confidence to customers through their digital transformation journey with the power of Cisco Unified Communication Manager (CUCM) platform. This session will cover Cisco's CUCM product strategy, product lifecycle changes, and high level roadmap for On-prem deployments including solution with Jabber, Webex App, Devices and Cisco Meeting Server. Session will also enable you with detailed insights on key platform updates, specifications, and compatibility requirements to help you Upgrade to CUCM 15 with confidence.
Why Attend?
Cisco UCM update sessions are a favorite of mine. It’s the collaboration platform that I first started working with, and seeing its continued growth is great! This session will talk about some of the enhancements to UCM as well as their hybrid model, and I’m sure they will touch on Cisco Connected UC (CCUC). Monday at 8am! It’s a great way to kick off Cisco Live.

Tip: The Cisco Live keynotes are unforgettable and exciting to see in person. However, if being in an auditorium with 20,000 of your closest friends isn’t your thing, you can watch the streams of keynote addresses on Cisco’s website and social media pages.
Looking for swag? This is the place for you! Whether you have a Full Conference or Explorer pass, you can access the World of Solutions exhibition floor.

Over the years, I’ve seen many performers, including Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Elton John, and Aerosmith. Wednesday night's celebration event will have Allegiant Stadium rocking with the return of Maroon 5 and featuring The Chainsmokers as the closing act.
This Customer Appreciation Event takes over Allegiant stadium and allows attendees to grab a spot on the floor or grab a spot in the stadium seating. Attendees will also have a variety of food and drink options to choose from in the stadium, and most (if not all) food stands will be open for the event.
Come see us at our booth! Get scanned by a Variphy team member and be entered for a chance to win Ray-Ban Wayfarer Meta glasses.
Also! Don’t miss our session, presented by Victor Vrba, senior director of Systems Engineering and Customer Success.
